Apple tree planted in mud

Apple tree planted in mud. I filled the hole with water and added dirt to make it soupy. Then I spread the roots out and secured them in the mud. Sometimes adding more dirt on top of the roots to secure them. With the soil here at the homestead the tree is secured when the mud dries.
